Humani OS connects people, AI agents and business systems to carry a task from intent to a verified result. An agentic workflow gives agents a goal, tools and boundaries so they can interpret information, coordinate work and choose the next step. As work unfolds, new information and execution results guide that choice. Agentic describes how work adapts; full automation describes how much it can proceed without human involvement. The two can overlap, but an agentic workflow can also pause for a person's judgment or approval.

For an enterprise, the opportunity is to spend less time gathering information, chasing updates and moving work between systems, while keeping people in control of consequential decisions. Value depends on the workflow and should be measured through completion time, manual effort, error rates and operating cost. The supply-chain example below makes this concrete: follow one supplier request through its checks, handoffs and exceptions to see how agents move the work forward and where the team makes the decisions.

One supplier. One connected workflow.

A manufacturer needs a new component supplier ready for purchasing. Follow the same request from its initial goal to a verified ERP record.

  1. Understand

Start with a shared definition of success.

Humani brings together the goal, business context and responsible owner. For this supplier, procurement defines the required checks and the outcome: an approved supplier record, enabled for P-204 purchasing at Plant A.

  2. Coordinate

Give each part of the work a clear next step.

Agents prepare the supplier record and review package. Quality checks certification, legal reviews the agreement and finance validates payment details. These reviews run in parallel; final approval waits for all required checks.

  3. Run & Recover

Keep progress through waits and handoffs.

An expired certificate and a payment-name mismatch need follow-up. Humani tracks the outstanding evidence while legal continues. When replacements arrive, the relevant reviews resume. Once every required review clears and the proposal is approved, the ERP write can proceed.

  4. Verify & Deliver

Close the task with a result the owner can check.

Humani reads back the saved supplier record and checks its fields and purchasing status against the approved proposal. Procurement receives the supplier ID, review decisions and supporting evidence, ready for the next purchasing step.

What supports every step

Business context & task state

Keep permitted knowledge, ownership, decisions and progress available across the task, with access and retention rules for reusable memory.

Managed Agent Runtime

Isolated workspaces and persistent state support inspection and recovery. External effects are reconciled before a safe, bounded retry.

Enterprise controls

Identity, permissions and policy govern actions. Approvals stay tied to the proposed work; people can intervene and inspect the evidence.

Connections

Connectors and controlled computer use link the workflow to existing applications. Customer ERP and CRM systems remain the systems of record.

Keep work moving when the path changes.

The same supplier request encounters two incomplete reviews and a missing ERP response. Three moments show how dependencies, human decisions and recovery fit together.

  1. Resolve the blocker. Retain the progress.

Quality requests a renewed certificate; finance asks the supplier to clarify a beneficiary-name mismatch. Legal can complete its review while those answers are pending. Replacement evidence returns to the relevant reviewer, with the earlier work still available.

Next: All required reviews must clear before the proposal reaches final approval.

  2. Turn completed reviews into an authorized action.

Quality accepts the new certificate, finance validates the payment details and legal accepts the agreement. The designated approver reviews the assembled proposal. Approval authorizes its submission to the ERP, linking the decision to the record being written.

Next: Submit the approved supplier record and check what the ERP saved.

  3. Resolve an uncertain write before moving on.

The ERP connection drops after submission. Humani checks the target system before another write: the original request may already have succeeded. In this example, reconciliation finds supplier V-2087; read-back confirms the approved fields and purchasing status.

Outcome: Procurement receives the verified record and its evidence. Purchase orders follow the company’s purchasing authority.

Operate your AI workforce

A completed workflow becomes a foundation for the next one. Give teams a shared way to configure agents, deploy workflows and judge where improvements are needed.

Configure agents
Define roles, business knowledge, skills and permitted tools. Assign an owner to each agent configuration.
Deploy workflows
Put a tested version into a defined business scope. Keep ownership, release status and work needing attention visible across the portfolio.
Observe outcomes
Follow work in progress, evaluate completed results and compare business measures across consistent scopes and periods.
Improve versions
Use findings to test a specific change, review the evidence and release an approved version. Monitor the new release against agreed rollback criteria.

Three questions to ask of every workflow

What happened?

Run records connect actions, decisions and handoffs to an individual task.

How well did it work?

Quality evaluations test results against agreed criteria, including exceptions and unresolved cases.

What changed for the business?

Business measures track cycle time, human effort and rework using comparable cases.
